Oppo Find X9, which is believed to be the next version after last year's Oppo Find X8, has shown up in various leaks recently. Although the Chinese phone maker has not announced anything officially, a new leak has given some hints about the phone's features. It is expected that the new Oppo Find X9 will have a 6.59-inch OLED screen and a big 7,025mAh battery. Reports suggest that it will operate on a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor and may include a camera setup branded by Hasselblad at the back. The Oppo Find X9 is rumored to be launched together with the Oppo Find X9 Pro, and the company might introduce the Oppo Find X9 Ultra model in early 2026.
Xpertpick, with help from tipster Yogesh Brar, shared details about the Oppo Find X9’s features and specifications. As per their findings, the device will have a 6.59-inch flat LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display for security. The Oppo Find X9 is anticipated to come with Android 16 and ColorOS 16. It will likely be driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, which is expected to be used in the Find X9 Pro as well. The phone may come with a hefty 7,025mAh battery that can handle 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, which would be a significant improvement from the 5,630mAh battery found in the Find X8.
The report indicates that the Oppo Find X9 will feature a Hasselblad camera unit at the back with Oppo's Lumo Imaging technology. This camera setup may include a 50-megapixel primary camera from Sony (LYT-808) with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera from Samsung (JN5), and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera from Samsung (JN9) with 3x optical zoom and OIS. Additionally, the Oppo Find X9 may come with a 50-megapixel selfie camera (Samsung JN1) for photos and video calls. There are also rumors about a new Plus Key that could be a notable upgrade from the Alert Slider on the Find X8. The upcoming Oppo Find X9 is likely to have dual stereo speakers and an improved X-axis linear motor for better haptic feedback. To ensure reliability, the device is reportedly going to have an IP68 + IP69 rating for protection against dust and water.
Oppo launched the Find X8 series in China in October of last year and then brought it to India in November. Following this trend, the Find X9 series is expected to be released in China this October alongside the Find X9 Pro model, but there has been no confirmation regarding its release in India yet. The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is anticipated to make its appearance in early 2026.
