Army: Eliminated Leadership Of Jaish-e-Mohammad in less than 100 Hours After Pulwama Attack

The Indian Army on Tuesday announced that Jaiesh-e-Mohammad leadership in Jammu and Kashmir has been eliminated in less than 100 hours after Pulwama Terror attack.

The above statement was made by the commander of the 15thCorps commander Lt General KS Dhillon at a press conference today.

After a 17-hour-long encounter in which 3 Jaish-e-Mohammad leaders were killed. A major and three soldiers were also killed in the encounter.

The Encounter took place days after Pulwama terror attack in which 40 Central Reserve Police Force jawans were killed.

In a press conference KS Dhillion said, “Our focus is clear on counter-terrorism operations. We are very clear that anyone who enters Kashmir Valley will not go back alive.”

“In less than 100 hours, we eliminated the JeM leadership handled from Pakistan,” he said

“Many Ghazis - in reference to Abdul Rashid Ghazi, the mastermind of the Pulwama terror attack -- have come and gone. Any terrorist who comes to Kashmir, will not go back,” Dhillion said

On February 14 attack Dhillion said, “Pakistan was controlling, coordinating and fabricating the attack.”

Lt. General also requested all mothers in the Kashmir valley to ensure that their sons don’t take up the guns.

“Anyone who has picked up a gun will be killed and eliminated, unless he surrenders. I request all the mothers in the Valley to ensure that their sons don’t take up the gun,” he said.

“In a Kashmiri society, mother has a great role to play. Through you, I would request the mothers of Kashmir to please request their sons who have joined terrorism to surrender and get back to the mainstream. Anyone who has picked up the gun will be killed and eliminated, unless he surrenders,” he reiterated.

The statement comes after the identification of the suicide bomber, Adil Ahmad Dar, a local of Kashmir valley.
