If the legislation is passed by the congress and signed into law the legislation titled as Reforming American Immigration For Strong Employments(RAISE) ACT could benefit highly educated professional among various countries.

The RAISE Act would cut away the existing lottery system to enter into us and institute a point based system to attain Green Cards. This legislation will prevent new migrants and new immigrants from collecting welfare, and protect US workers from being displaced.

The factors considered for any immigrant are English language skill, education, high paying job offers.

“The RAISE Act will reduce the poverty, increase wages, and save taxpayers billions of dollars. It will do this by changing the way the US issues Green Cards to nationals from other countries. Green Card provide permanent residency, work authorization, and fast track to citizenship,” said Trump.

Trump said “The RAISE Act ends migration, and replaces a low skilled system with a new point based system for receiving residency cards.

He also said that “ That a very big thing. They are not going to come in and just immediately go and collect welfare. That does not happen under the RAISE Act. They cannot do that. Crucially, the Green Card reforms in the RAISE Act will give American workers a pay raise by reducing unskilled immigrants”.

He also mentioned that legislation can not only restore Americans a competitive edge in the 21st century, but it will restore the sacred bond of trust between America and its citizens.

Senator Cotton has said that “it is time to change the half century old system”.

He also mentioned that only 1 in every 15 out of million new immigrants come here due to job skills and their ability to succeed in this economy.

Senator Perdue has also said that “Today we bring in 1.1 million legal immigrants a year. Over 50 percent of our house hold of legal immigrants participates in our social welfare system. Right now, only one 1 in every 15 immigrants come with employable skills. We have to change that”.

“This RAISE Act would end program known to be rift with fraud and abuse and finally improve the vetting process, making our country and working class wages much safer and stronger” said the Attorney general.
