Watch: U.S. Army Band Plays Jana Gana Mana for Indian Soldiers

On the last day of a joint exercise between the Indian and American Army in Washington. The U.S. Army band played the Indian National Anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’ on their trumpets on Wednesday.

The exercise Yudh Abhyas 2019 between the two countries began on September 5 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington as part of the ongoing defense co-operation between the United States and India.

In a video posted by ANI, the band can be seen playing 'Jana Gana Mana'.


Earlier, the Indian and American army personnel taking part in the joint military exercise were seen singing and dancing to the popular Indian marching song 'Badluram ka Badan' in a that went viral on the internet last week.


Exercise Yudh Abhyas is one of the largest joint-running military training and defense co-operation endeavors between India and the United States. According to officials, the armies of both the nations will jointly train, plan, and execute a series of well-developed operations for neutralization of threats of varied nature during the exercise.

The joint exercise will be undertaken at the end by both countries under a United Nations mandate. Both the side experts will hold academic and military discussions to share each other's practical knowledge on different topics for mutual benefit.
